Damon Deteso

Dr. Damon Deteso is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist based in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he has practiced with Millennium Medical Imaging for more than two decades. His clinical expertise spans a broad range of imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiography. Through his work, he supports both hospital-based and outpatient care, helping physicians diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions. Dr. Deteso also maintains a strong interest in the evolving role of artificial intelligence in medical imaging and has contributed his expertise to initiatives focused on improving AI-assisted image interpretation.

A longtime advocate for professional development, Dr. Deteso remains engaged with the radiology community through organizations such as the American College of Radiology and by participating in educational conferences that explore emerging technologies and best practices in patient care. His commitment to research dates back to his academic training, where he pursued scientific investigation in both physics and medicine. Over the years, he has contributed to scholarly work and presented research findings at major radiology conferences, including the Radiological Society of North America.

Dr. Deteso earned a bachelor's degree in physics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he was inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma National Physics Honor Society. He later received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed advanced imaging training at the University of California, San Francisco. Outside of medicine, he enjoys music, travel, astronomy, skiing, and recreational sports.
